This guide is the result of a project sponsored by the US Government. This guide was developed for the US Government under contract by Booz·Allen and Hamilton, Inc. The project grew out of a concern shared by senior leadership and security professionals with- in the Intelligence Community that the security risk management process needed to be more clearly defined. The purpose was to establish a process for security specialists and their customers to understand risk management concepts and accomplish risk management tasks in a more efficient and effective manner.
